Plains Rally 2025 Highlights

Round two of the 2025 Motorsport UK Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship saw a triumphant return to the Welsh forests after Storm Darragh's devastation had forced the cancellation of two major events. Rally fans were treated to a thrilling, dust-filled day at SS Dyfnant, which ran just a single pass but delivered non-stop action.

Taking top honours in the Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship and the overall Plains Rally were Andrew Purcell and Martin Brady in their Ford Fiesta Rally2, followed closely by Liam Clark and Jack Morton, also in a Fiesta Rally2. James Giddings and Aled Davies completed the podium in their Mitsubishi Evo 9.

Historic honours went to Adam Milner/Roy Jarvis, who clinched the Category 2 win, while Baz Jordan/Arwel Jenkins topped Category 4. Meanwhile, David Crossen and Ben Teggart made it two out of two in the FUCHS UK British Historic Rally Championship with another strong win at the Plains Rally, maintaining their lead — now tied with fellow frontrunners.
